Hayward SP1500KA Above Ground Pool Pump Seal Assembly
The Hayward SP1500KA pump seal is fairly easy to install. Designed for the Hayward above ground pool pumps. You need to replace the SP1500KA pool pump seal if water is leaking from the rear of the pump impeller chamber houising by the motor shaft. The need for replacement is most often the result of running the pool pump with insufficient water supply into the pump which keeps the pump seal from overheating and failure. Keep the pool water level up to the recommended level in the pool top skimmer.
