Pool Frog Bac Pac fits both in-ground and above ground Pool Frog® feeders!
The Bac Pac is filled with Trichlor pool chlorine tablets that have been compressed into very hard tablets for a slow dissolve rate. The Pool FROG Bac Pac is convenient and safer to use than handling chlorine. The Bac Pac is easily inserted into the center of the Pool Frog Mineral Cartridge. Simply pull off the red end-cap and insert inside the Frog Cycler.
The flow rate of the Bac Pac is easily adjusted along with the mineral prififier cartridge. Adjust the chlorine delivery rate until you have a 0.5 ppm chlorine residual in your pool water. This should then be the ideal setting for your pool size.
Pool FROG Bac Pac should last 2 to 3 weeks for the average swimming pool. The length of time between Bac Pac replacement depends on the size of your pool and the hours each day that you operate your filter system, weather, rain, pool bather load, etc.

The blank Pac is there simply to help control pool water flow through the cycler until you add a chlorine Bac Pac. The blank Pac comes standard in all new POOL FROG Purification systems and is also used for pools that already have another way to dispense reduced amounts of chlorine into the pool water. The FROG Bac Pac cartridge simply replaces the blank flow control Pac for precise controlled chlorine delivery. POOL FROG gives you a reliable way to have fresh, clean, natural water in your family's pool. It's easier too, with pre-filled containers that are recycled or discarded when empty.
