Poolguard® in-ground pool alarms
Poolguard's in-ground swimming pool alarms will alert you to any un-authorized entry into the pool by children, pets, or intruders. Once detected by the unit's electronic sensor, it sets off a loud, pulsating alarm both in the home and at the pool. Safe, simple, and easy to operate, the 9-volt battery powered alarm does not require tie-downs, ropes, or wires. Poolguard® is equipped with a sensitivity adjustment knob on the unit for ease in adjusting the sensitivity of the alarm. Poolguard® comes with a remote receiver which sounds an alarm inside the home when the unit is activated at the pool. The Poolguard® alarm system can be used with a solar blanket on the pool.
The POOLGUARD® POOL ALARM has been on the market since 1982 and is made in the USA. POOLGUARD is completely portable and comes with an in house remote receiver. The POOL ALARM uses one 9-volt battery (battery not included). Battery life is approximately one year. The pool alarm is activated with an on/off key. Remove the key to turn the alarm on. The alarm will sound at the pool and in the home at the same time. The alarm automatically resets after 5 minutes of alarming. The POOLGUARD® SYSTEM can be used in a pool up to 800 sq. ft. in area. The pool alarm has a complete functional test feature every time it is installed in the pool.
The REMOTE RECEIVER comes with a 9-volt power supply and can be plugged into any 110-volt outlet in the house. The pool alarm sets stationary on the side of the pool deck and must be removed while swimming. The range of the REMOTE RECEIVER is up to 200 feet from the pool alarm. The alarm requires no ropes, wires, tie downs or deck anchors. The alarm is user friendly and completely portable. The alarm can be used with a solar blanket. POOLGUARD® pool alarms have been verified by ETL to the safety and performance requirements of the ASTM International Standard for Pool Alarms, F 2208.
