Mesh safety covers are the most popular inground pool covers. The solid safety cover is popular in geographical areas that do not receive heavy snow loads. A swimming pool safety cover provides a barrier of pool protection that can support hundreds of pounds. Many people call them walk on swimming pool covers.

Initial installation requires drilling holes into your deck. Brass deck anchors are then permanently placed into the holes. Stainless steel adjustment buckles and stainless steel springs are then attached to the cover fabric straps. Safety pool covers stretch tight and lock down over the swim area, by attaching the stainless steel spring onto the brass deck anchor using an installation tool.

Safety covers made of mesh and solid offer the same protection for your swimming pool. The only difference is the type of fabric used. Each fabic type has different advantages. Our tough mesh inground pool cover will block most of the sunlight that can cause algae in the springtime. Mesh inground pool safety covers allow water to drain through and debris will just blow away. Small amounts of silt and dirt may pass through the mesh.

Swimming pool safety covers that are made of solid vinyl will block all the sunlight. The vinyl cover will help to stop algae growth better. An AquaMaster solid safety cover will collect more water, snow and ice. When the snow and ice melts, it drains through a mesh panel built into the center of the cover. Solid covers keep more fine silt and dirt out of the pool than mesh covers. Solid vinyl safety covers do not have to have center drain panels. You must use an automatic cover pump to remove water off the cover if you do not have drain panels. Solid covers may allow puddles to accumulate on the surface of the cover. The cover straps need adjusted properly to divert water accumulation to the center drain panel. The mesh pool cover will allow all the water to pass through the cover eliminating water accumulation.

Once you remove the swimming pool cover, the deck anchors will recess flush with the deck to prevent tripping or stubbing toes. If you do not have a concrete deck, there are different types of cover deck anchors available. There are anchors for wood decks, brick and pavers.
