This metal control formula prevents ugly stains, scaling, and brown water. Pool Stain Away performs two important functions. First, Stain Away ties up iron, copper, and manganese to prevent staining of pool surfaces. Second, it aids in the removal of relatively fresh stains. It will actually lighten some existing pool stains. In areas where metals are found naturally in the source water. Regular use of pool Stain Away helps keep the metals from becoming a problem.
